a few good things today:

i got my federal taxes (they finally got that in the bank) and i got a nice surprise in the mail...it was a letter from phil elverum of mt. eerie/the microphones..it encluded a photo of him in japan, a letter, and some flyers for the june 10th show..i was EXTREMELY happy to see that he is in fact coming back here..i was planning on going down to the chicago show in june and take that monday off..i might have to do another "stalker" deal where i go to the chicago show, then the next show, and then the mpls show or something..i guess we'll see considering that i'd have to take 2-3 days off work and i already want to take a lot of days off in july..i best make a schedule of when everything is and how much time i need to take off for it (i.e. the winnipeg folk festival, microphones shows, what the heck fest) and also where i'm going to get the money for all of that stuff...lets see here..winnipeg is about 100 plus gas (between 3 people), plus food, plus whatever else, shipwreck days will be expensive because of the flight out there, but if i can find something under 300, i should be good to go..and um, chicago shouldn't be too much...i get a free place to stay..i just need the ride..hmm..thinking thinking...i could perhaps catch a bus down there, and ride along with phil or something..we'll see i guess

oh, i'm done with the psychologist i guess...she thinks i'm at a pretty good point..i was actually getting bored with it..and wanted to stop..so this was a good time to stop..i didn't say what was on my mind..and i can't function that early in the morning too well....so that's good

kevin knows me pretty well now i think..he figured out that something was "up"...without me saying anything..it's weird how people have their intuitions about me..ut, i hear him coming in
